One person found this helpful. Paperback Verified download. Still, probably, the most thorough account of the making of Blade Runner. Kudos to the author for understanding, back in the late 70s and early 80s, that this film was going to be special.
He walks you through all phases of production as well as the release of the flawed studio cut and then the assembly of the director's cut, etc.
If you're an avid fan of the film, this book is mandatory reading. The revised edition covers the last release the final cut of the movie as well as some introduction to Blade Runner It would have been nice if the book was printed on better paper stock and if the included pictures were on gloss stock instead of the paper pages which made the pictures pretty poor.
Great insights into the film, and added a lot to my understanding of the movie. It prompted me to go back and watch again with new eyes.
The latest version of Paul M. Sammon's "Future Noir" is the definitive one, and worth downloading even if you have one of the previous editions.

However, the only thing keeping this from being a five-star review is the sloppy copy editing and proofreading of the material newly added to this edition.
